At Harrisons Caring Hands Plus Services, we are committed to empowering individuals to live stable, meaningful, and independent lives within their communities. Our organization was founded on the belief that compassionate support, structured services, and individualized care planning create lasting change.

HCHPS is a community-based behavioral health and supportive services provider in North Carolina, offering:

  • Peer Support Services

  • Multi-Unit Assisted Housing with Services (MAHS)

We specialize in supporting adults living with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and other barriers that impact daily functioning and independence. Our approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused.

Room Choices

Private Room

Each private room provides a comfortable, personal living space designed to support independence, privacy, and stability within a structured residential setting. Rooms are furnished with a bed, personal storage for belongings, and a television, and include access to Wi-Fi to support communication, daily activities, and community connection. Residents also have access to shared household amenities in a safe, respectful environment with clear program expectations.

Shared Rooms

Our shared rooms provide a safe, comfortable living space designed to promote stability, cooperation, and independent living skills within a structured residential environment. Each shared room is furnished with separate beds, individual storage for personal belongings, and access to a television and Wi-Fi. The shared-room setting encourages mutual respect, personal responsibility, and positive peer interaction while maintaining clear expectations for privacy and boundaries.

PSR-Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Peer support is a service built on shared experience people who’ve been through similar life challenges offering understanding, encouragement, and practical guidance to one another. It’s about connection, trust, and walking alongside someone as they move forward.

Respite Service

Respite care is short-term, temporary support designed to give caregivers a break while ensuring individuals continue to receive care in a safe, supportive environment. It offers peace of mind for families and stability for those receiving services.
